WEDDING AND PORTRAIT
Welcome to my blog. It is a wonderful thing to be able to hold a moment still and enjoy that memory forever. Capturing the interaction between family, lovers and friends and tears of joy that are exchanged.
I think I have the best job in the world. I can be creative and arty and laugh without even needing a glass of wine.
I am not going to waffle on here as I feel my images will tell the story.
I have a couple of favourite sayings in life that I would like to share:
- Enjoy every day
- Don’t go through life saying “I wished I had of .....” when it is all too late.
- Why wait for a sunny day or until your child is the right age to do a family portrait. That day may never come.

Drum roll....... introducing my pinhole infrared images........ I had so much fun playing in New Farm Park and Powerhouse area with a camera which has no lens and no focal point. Not sure about approaching the wedding scene with it but you never know. Enjoy.

I have never laughed so much at a wedding. A couple of years ago I photographed Kelly's sister Nicky's wedding so I knew what I was in for. These 3 sisters are simply amazing and sooooo much fun. I have been officially adopted into their family. Always wanted a sister and now I have 3. Next time we meet up I need to make sure there is a toilet close by. Check out the Chevy & Cadillac.

An interesting thing happened the morning of Chad & Alisha's Wedding. I woke up and decided I needed to buy an old bird cage to use as a prop somewhere during their shoot. Not my normal behaviour for a wedding but off I went on a mission to find this item. Woolloongabba Antiques was where I found exactly what I was looking for complete with a little stuffed bird. I arrived at the brides house excited and hoping she could see my vision with this bird cage. Little did I know she loves bird cages and had bought one for her reception for people to place money in. We both couldn't believe we had connected and yet never spoke about this bird cage thingy. Anyway here are a couple of images from this amazing wedding. Perfect couple to laugh with. Thanks guys.

I love it when a bride will dance in the rain. Bec really had no real choice as it was the week before the devastating floods in Brisbane and the rain just never seemed to stop. With an outdoor ceremony at the Nepalese pergoda and reception at GOMA we just made the most of everything. I did revisit the the image with the Feris wheel one week later after the flood had left it's mark. Amazing to see the before and after and we thought the rain was a little bad at times. Matt & Bec - you were awesome. Thank you. Before

So many of my past brides and grooms are having babies. Well done guys. Introducing little Piper Billy. Cool name hey. One week old.

Another bride and groom baby - little Kayla. This old bath tub was one that my mother used to be bathed in only last week (only joking - when she was little) A couple of holes but kids just love to play.
This chair was also one that has been passed down for over a century. Apparently we have all been breast feed in this chair including my own 2 boys. Maybe that explains the milky colour!!!Check out this mum to be. Sexy if you ask me. Breah is my wonderful hairdresser from La Moda Hair at Greenslopes. Baby due Valentines Day. I just wished I had had pregnancy photos taken when I was pregnant but cameras weren't made then !!!!!!

Some sexy boots, a bit of lace, some gorgeous flowers and a hot model. This is Rob Heyman's daughter Linda.
I think I have the best brides and grooms. They all love each other (so they should) and love having fun. Brad & Roseanne September 2010.

I have known Kristy since she was a little girl, not quite nappy stage but nearly. It was so special to photograph her wedding day with Jarrod. Her dress was made in silk organza. Something out of Italy just incredible thanks to her wonderful mums dressmaking.

Michelle & Chris's Wedding at Ocean View Winery.

Michelle & Chris's wedding at Ocean View Winery was just beautiful. A little rain didn't stop us photographing at all.
When Ramona's dad embraced her in the parents bedroom the picture of Jesus just completed the photo.

I recently traveled through France & Italy on my way to assist in photographing a wedding in Positano. Thought I would share with you some of my adventures.

I have two amazing boys. My blog wouldn’t be complete without sharing them with you. I took them out to my favourite place in Tenterfield in June and we climbed up some boulders to view the sunset. I gave them each a harmonica to play and these are my images. Enjoy.
